Hello, everyone! I am so, SO excited to announce the thing I’ve been teasing on my Tumblr for ages...! ACEVID WEEKEND!! YIPPEE!!! 

Like typical ship weeks/days, you get about a month in advance to prepare! So, the dates will be on November 9th and 10th. 

Before I get into the prompts, I would like to explain a few rules and guidelines! 

-your submission can be in the form of memes, art, comics, fanfiction, or anything creative as long as it’s acevid and it sticks to the prompts! 

-your submissions can be romantic or platonic— basically whatever as long as it’s acevid-centric. 

-if it wasn’t clear in the above: keep it acevid-centric!! other ships are allowed but acevid should be the main focus!!

-not a rule, but if you do participate, please do support other people’s posts!! this ties into the next point, which is a rule— 

-be respectful to everyone, including, and especially the dev! 

-despair time is a 16+ show. that means spice is allowed, no outright explicit porn. keep it pg 16.

-review the dev’s rules please and apply them to this fan ran ship weekend. i’m especially emphasizing the no ai rule. 

-official tag? #acevidweekend2024 post all your submissions with this tag or else it might not get reposted! please do not use this tag prior to nov 9 & 10, but i’m announcing it now because Itrust you.

-be respectful to the ship. you don’t have to ship it, but don’t go reposting “not my otp”. you don’t have to bring others down. 

-DO NOT USE ART UNLESS I GIVE EXPLICIT PERMISSION

The crew of a massive container ship that crashed into the Francis Scott Key bridge in Baltimore early Tuesday warned of power issues before the collision, which caused the bridge to collapse into the frigid Patapsco River, officials said.

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore said the warning from the ship’s crew likely saved lives.

“We’re thankful that between the mayday and the collapse, that we had officials who were able to begin to stop the flow of traffic so more cars were not on the bridge,” Moore said. He called those officials heroes.

Moore noted that the bridge was up to code at the time of the collapse. He said the collapse was a “shocking and heartbreaking” event for the people of Maryland who have used the bridge for 47 years.

IS THAT TIME OF THE YEAR for dusting off old Skystar art for this week while I work on my entry for this year's @skystarweek event!

This collection of pics (and the ones I'll share in next few days) were my first attempts at understanding how to draw TFs and especially the design differences between these two. That's why they look super basic but it helped me a lot to become more comfortable until I settled on a style more similar to TFA+TFP in later years.

(And I was watching during that year the War for Cybertron trilogy so, that's why my Skyfire is addressed as Jetfire, bear with me).
